Growing up outside New York City had its perks. My school ran lots of trips to Broadway shows, for example. And every now and then on the weekend my stepdad would drive into Brooklyn to get bagels. My favorite? Everything bagels. And oh yes sir they were so much better from Brooklyn!
These days, I stay away from carb-loaded breakfasts but I was able to transfer all the savory flavor to this extremely simple Everything Bagel Chicken dinner. You’re going to love the addition of cream cheese sauce. Oh my god, heaven!
In order to make this meal you will want to swing by Trader Joe’s to pick up a jar of their “Everything But the Bagel” seasoning. Don’t have a TJ’s nearby? No worries. You can order it here.
So let’s take a look at what goes into this amazing seasoning. After all, it’s the ONLY ingredient we’re going to use before popping our bird into the oven:
Sea salt, garlic, onion, sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.
That’s it.
This is real food that’s real good, people. Happy dinnertime.
